I know primals drop at approximately a 1/400 rate, which does NOT mean getting 400 legendaries guarantees a primal ancient. Statistical anomalies exist, and sometimes one might go through a significant drought of not finding any. All that being said, there IS a switch in the game that controls whether primals are dropped in general.Primal Ancients are much rarer than Ancient items, which in turn are much rare than normal Legendary items.
