When I grip a Glock or a 1911 with an arched mainspring housing the same way, my thumbs are pointed at the target. Inside of 7 yards, with either of those guns, all I have to do is point my thumbs and my sights are aligned on the target. Yesterday I ordered a Wilson Combat grip module and hopefully that'll fix the issue.
