Tried the stock spring. Stiff, but it kind of helped with punching out the maglock after dropping the mag. However, after some reading, I replaced the stock spring and detent with the one provided by ARMaglock. I then replaced the stock spring with the ARMaglock spring, and now it provides sufficient push to operate normally.
