I have a 2017 Acadia, purchased new July 2017. 21k miles on it now. The shift to park message just started 3 weeks ago (November 2018 ) and learned more by reading this forum. Before reading this forum, I did notice on my Acadia that the P on the center console and the P on the dash both indicate "P", but the message on the screen still appeared.2017 Volt "Shift to park" RCA and permanent fix.
