I can't find any info on this like year s of manufacture or production numbers. I know Winchester often made special runs for groups or distributors.Winchester 9422 finish option question. All the 9422's I've seen over the years have had the typical high polish blue and glossy wood stock and forend. At a recent gun show saw a fellow walking out with a 9422 with an oil finished stock.
