Honda odyssey doors not working.
2007 Odyssey EX, 190K Miles. Second owner but I've had the car since 19K miles. Maintained largely myself. This started out as a typical sliding door issue. Battery went dead, passenger side power sliding door stopped working completely. As a corollary, I've also had interior light issues for a long time. Not sure how connected these might be.

After replacing the sliding door latch, pass side, testing lock actuator. Replacing ac relay. Adding a 2 watt solar panel to offset battery drain (didn't help at night with no sun). Really there are 3 main things that cause issues with the sliding doors in this gen (and really other gens as well): the center roller, the rear latch, or the power release actuator. 90% of the time the problem is one or more of those things. The power doors work when key is out or in I, the doors will close but not open when key is in II or engine is on. When the doors are open and the key is on it makes an annoying beep until the door is shut. The ABS and VSA lights are still on after the cable reset and confirmed fully charged battery.
