An overhaul can only make Hydroid better and yet you seem to be against such a thing. Why I honestly do not know. Hydroid needs a complete rework, from the ground up. It looks like Yareli and Grendel are getting relatively small tweaks… both of which I’ve asked for and am excited for. A fix for Grendel’s clunky cycling buffs, and a way to let Yareli shoot the enemies in her Riptide before it explodes. Yareli still needs a LOT more, but this is promising. Maybe DE is working on something bigger for Hydroid.Hydroid needs all he can get out of a rework, and Corroding Barrage as an innate ability is a good start. Tempest Barrage is one of the only abilities in his kit that is actually pretty good, but other than being pirate-related, it doesn't have much else going for it other than being a weaker Smite.Warframe is a hit-and-run fast paced looter shooter, not a slow-paced tactical shooter. Removing these charge mechanics is 100% necessary if Hydroid is improve.
