Tractor - 2011 x300 with FS541V motor with about 180 hours today and regular maintenance. Bought in April with 150 hours. History - At about 172 hours had a rough idle problem develop, cleaned out the carb and replaced the fuel. Likely caused by older untreated fuel. Throttle control on BBC engines. Some have said apparently there is a second filter inside the lower end of the pump that when it gets blocked, it allows excess fuel to bypass and return to the tank starving the injectors. Apparently if the pressure falls below 38 psi, the engine will starve and loose power.
