Nov 23, 2021 · Washer It seems like it only makes the grinding noise while it's agitating. On a 3 year old machine that could be a couple of things. One is this pulley is loose. It is under the machine behind a plastic guard. The other is model dependant, some have a plastic hub under the wash plate/agitator.
