Harrim is fine but he's really more of a healer/support type who's less fragile than Tristian, who's a paper bag. The main issue with Harrim isn't that he's bad, but other characters can do specific things better. Tristian is a better healer, Val is a better tank, Amiri does better melee damage, etc. #1.
