Aug 1, 2017 · Yes there is a way and I have done it on many trucks. You need to disconnect the lines at the firewall where they Tee out to go to the rear for the bunk and have lines made up eliminating the tee junction to the rear. Bring in the old ends and lines to get the proper ends and figure the correct hose length. Let me know if you need more help.

The problem is it can run the whole day and not freeze and then out of the blue it freezes. I can shut it off and defrost it and it will run and blow cold and then out of the blue freeze up again. If that is fine than you have an issue with the bunk expansion valve or a plugged ac condenser in the bunk.
