I’ve read different remedies mostly all associating problem to low outside temps or low or leaking refrigerant. I live in Arizona so the former isn’t the issue. I am blowing ice cold air when AC works so doubtful of the latter.

The copper dust from the blower motor corrodes the aluminum evaporator and causes a leak.
