Shadow 2 Slide Milling for Optic. I have a Shadow 2 Orange that I want to use for USPSA Carry Optics. Are there any shops that are milling to the same footprint as a Shadow 2 Optic Ready? I'd like to use the same optic plates as the production optic ready gun and have the option to put irons back should the dot life no longer appeal to me.

The S2 has just about an ounce to spare on the weight.CZC plates have thicker 8-32 screws and have a lesser chance of stripping than thinner optic mounting screws. This Cajun milled Shadow 2 slide below was $125 charge to fix. Had that screw got stripped in a plate, simply replacing that plate wouldve put me 80 bucks ahead. In addition fixing it took some threads out of the slide.
