When I Run Factory ammo over my Chrony they are all Close the Marlin is on average 30fps faster than the 94 the 788 with it's 22' Barrel is 30 fps faster than the 30 Glenfeild Marlin. Hello, this is my JM stamped Glenfield 30A which is basically a Marlin 336 but with a cheaper stock and its in great condition. By my research it was made in 1973 based on the serial number. There is still plenty of rifling left so it hasn't been used that much. It comes with a Japanese made scope that is Glenfield branded and is very clear.
