Better control could be had with the 22R/RE with 4 speed manual transmission. The 22 series has better low end torque than the 6 (I think) and you need that in snow more than more horsepower. I have the 22R Sunrader with 4 spd manual and have traveled in 6" of snow with no difficulty but not while in the mountains.
