Ironically (maybe intentionally), the Compact with a magazine is same length as the X Carry module (including Wilson). The only difference is the X Carry magazine baseplate thickness makes it longer. Should be evident in pictures. About 1/4"-5/16" longer. Some are saying, "but longer makes it harder to conceal".I owned an X-Carry and now have the X-Compact. With all that being said, I wouldn't choose between the X Carry and X Compact based on capacity or bragging rights. If you're set on either one, choose the one based on size and comfort. Both EDC well although the X Compact obviously conceals a little bit better. ianzuckerman157.

You might be able to get a leather holster to stretch, but If going Kydex, you need one made specifically for the 45, and few holster makers offer that option.
