A recent post made me realize this may not be common knowledge so I'm just throwing this out there as I can verify this as a TA myself: anyone who has instructor privileges on a canvas page (professors, TAs, etc) can easily see your activity levels on the canvas page. This includes dates, times, every link you click and when, etc.

As a TA using canvas, I can assure you that 99.9% of professors could not possibly care less about checking that information. not that I don't agree that its uncomfortably invasive and probably exceeds what information it needs to serve its purpose well, but I wouldn't worry about it being used against you.
