In the case of The Elder Scrolls Online with ReShade version 3.1.1 or greater, User must enable option the [Copy depth before clearing]. But, this option effects that delay of the depth of field buffer. As of now (6:20 PM EST on 2/6), the guide recommends uninstalling GShade as the last step. This will break your ReShade install (it removes the new ReShade dxgi.dll file). If you're going to uninstall GShade, make sure you do it right before installing ReShade (having backed up the appropriate preset and shader folders).

Most disable them for this reason. There is some setting you need to change on the gshade installer for the overlay to work.So you'll see ambient occlusion glitch on Moogles. The problem with GShade is that it works like real time photoshopping. On still images, it's easier to manipulate color and lighting to your own desire, but FFXIV is a game, and on top of that a game with wide lighting set range, from the very dim lit areas, very bright, to the glowy ones.
