Without fertilizer you need an insane amount of greenhouses for a reasonable amount of circuits (500+). Fertilizer helps a lot but it's still a huge amount. It'll take a ton of space, and will take a long time to pay off. The small amount of stone saved isn't worth the hassle imo.
