2 games in a row when I'm trying to play as a conqueror and I end up losing to the AI because they have a larger fleet or more minerals to build more ships than I do. I'm constantly trying to figure out how to balance what to use my minerals on. I'm always spending them on either planetary buildings or space stations for mining and research, and ships start getting expensive once you have tech ...The goal is to Synth Ascend as fast and as efficient as possible. The AI likes using short-ranged weapons on defense platforms so long-ranged missiles often kill the platforms from outside of their weapon range. Once you get to Cruisers, Missile Carriers really do well against the AI. Missiles, Hangars, long range. Once you get to Battleships, throw on an Arc Emitter. 4.They usually stay behind all other ships in your fleet, and slow everything down (one reason I usually build fewer corvettes/destroyers later on), but they pack quite a punch. Now to the fleet composition: Early on: Corvettes and destroyers in a relation of about 2:1. Mid-game: Add cruisers to the fleet, lots of them.

As for the "best" corvette build- early game it doesn't matter. Coil/Ripper or Lazer corvettes are more useful than Plasma/Missile/PD/Flak corvettes for general use. Focus on getting combat computer tech and use swarm. Don't stress about armor or shield tech. If you can get Crystal Hull tech this can help you build ships more for less. The Unbidden have heavily shielded ships, and their weapons all suck vs shields. Also, they have the shortest range weapons out of all the crises. A fleet full of Battleships, equipped with Giga Cannons and loaded to the gills with Kinetic Artillery, with as many high-tier shields as you can put on them, with Artillery computers and - if you …「Stellaris」 Fleet Design Guide - All Ship Builds! Reply. TMirek. •. Best fleet composition in my opinion is two heavy titans both with the fire rate modifier and balanced weaponry, along with a fleet of 152 corvettes to escort them. Divide the corvettes into three subcategories of about 50 each, and spread weaponry between shield focused, armor focused, and hull focused among them.

Transfer ships to a new fleet, delete old fleet.I assume you have more colonies than them - they spend loads of money on ships from the start, when its better to expand and develop at the start. You should thus have no trouble in spamming cruisers. If you run low on energy, build energy plants instead of ships. If you run low on fleet cap build farms and spaceports. Or just attack someone.Build Suggestion for 3.8. Advice Wanted. Hey guys, after a hiatus of 3-4 years, I've decided to dive back into Stellaris and purchase all its DLCs again. Watched a few different build videos, have been playing around with the Void Dweller full rush build, even with decent +50 alloy production very early I only hit 2.5k fleet power by 2230 and rolled Cruisers in that year, so started producing cruisers only in 2232, and only with Basic Fighters.Hangars can be a useful option in the mid-game before Battleships arrive to provide fleet diversity, but once you reach Battleships they do the Carrier role much better.
